Incline / Elevating belt conveyors with stainless steel frameworks and platforms are commonly used in clean environments to lower and elevate products. Stainless incline decline elevator conveyors with FDA approved PVC belts can be designed and manufactured with flights to aid controlled descent and ascent of smaller products or where the angle of incline is steep.
Wrightfield elevating stainless steel modular plastic belted conveyors are manufactured to the same high quality construction and modern technology to raise or lower products being processed. For higher flight applications modular plastic belts can be fitted as they are generally more robust.
Importantly the angles of incline / decline are fixed for these elevators ( though any fixed angle – within reason) can be selected at the design process. There are a large range of protected controls and motors available that are suitable for the cleanest environments. Where required we design incline / elevating conveyors with easy strip-down features to allow for disassembly of the conveyor without the need for specialist tools.
Custom designed to suit the high-care environments
Our incline belt elevators are all custom designed to suit the high-care (e.g. Food / Pharmaceutical) or low-care ( e.g. Shipping) environment that they are being installed in. Conveyors are available in either 316 stainless steel or 304 stainless steel.
Wrightfield engineers are experienced at installing incline / decline elevators in food production sites between pieces of the process plant. Over the last two decades, we have designed elevators for handling almost every food type and our engineers have a detailed understanding of different food “movements” allowing them to develop bespoke elevator conveyors to your food needs.
Wrightfield supply a wide range of ancillary equipment to be used with our conveyors and our design team are happy to discuss how systems can be accommodated within your floor plan layout. We often supply and integrate hoppers and chutes along with the conveyors.
Incline / Elevating Conveyor Ancillary equipment includes:
- A full range of control options to allow control of the products being transported
- Chutes & Hoppers
- Under trays
- Mobile chassis – where it is beneficial for the incline conveyor to be moveable
- Hinged downside guides – for easier access
- Cantilevered supports
- Corrugated sidewall belts
- Easy clean box section frameworks for high hygiene environments
- Swan neck units
