Projects Manager

Main duties include:

• Loading jobs onto MRP system
• Production planning
• Loading sales orders onto production planning software (Microsoft Project)
• Scheduling contracts to suit capacity & to maintain plan as timescales move
• Printing of work planning chart
• Providing assistance to and working alongside Operations (drawing office, production, installations, etc)
• Holding production meetings with Operational heads of departments
• Prioritising of work, scheduling and liaise with Operations
• Specifying & ordering controls/control panels & dealing with contract control engineers
• Specifications/order acknowledgements to customers
• Customer liaison-drawings approvals/general documentation
• Identifying & collecting contract variations & advise contract cost updates /quotation

Key requirements include

• Drawing project background would be advantageous but not essential
• Project background and experience with Microsoft Project
• Production, planning experience and experience with MRP systems
