Bespoke metalwork refers to the custom design, fabrication, and installation of metal structures and components that are tailored to specific client requirements or needs. These products are typically not mass-produced, but instead are created as one-off or limited-edition pieces. The metalwork can include elements such as architectural metal cladding, metal roofing, metal framing, metal staircases, metal railings, metal grills, metal doors, and other metal elements. The materials used in bespoke metalwork can include a variety of metals such as steel, aluminum, copper, and stainless steel, depending on the requirements of the project. Bespoke metalwork can be used for both functional and aesthetic purposes, and can be designed to complement the overall design of a building or structure. The fabrication of bespoke metalwork often requires skilled craftsmen, and the use of specialized tools and equipment such as welding, cutting, and shaping machines. The process may also involve close collaboration with architects, designers, and other professionals in order to realize the client’s vision.

Bespoke Metalwork – In House Processes

Located in the picturesque county of Suffolk, is our very own 26,000 square foot manufacturing facility. Here, in this hotbed of industry, we carry out all metalwork related processes in house. This includes design, project planning and manufacture.

We find that by managing each process in house, we are able to optimise channels of communication between departments. This is a factor that allows us to streamline projects, increase efficiency and meet tight deadlines.

Once production is completed, our installation team take over the reins and complete the job on location. We also offer a comprehensive after sales service, this includes breakdown support, service contracts, shift cover, planned preventative maintenance, audits and assessments, and remote diagnostics.

The Wrightfield Philosophy

As architectural metal fabricators, we use a simple philosophy as a constant point of reference throughout all of our projects. This philosophy is Better by Design.

In practice, the three word mantra manifests itself as the continual development of solutions. We include all the latest technologies and keep up to date with all the latest industry best practices. In doing so, we are able to create the most efficient solutions for our clients, thereby helping them to maximise their productivity and, ultimately, their profitability.

Bespoke commercial metalwork is a term used to describe custom-made metalwork that is designed and fabricated specifically for commercial spaces. This type of metalwork can include a wide range of products such as handrails, balustrades, staircases, security grilles, fire escapes, and more.

One of the main benefits of bespoke commercial metalwork is that it allows businesses to create a unique and functional space that is tailored to their specific needs. For example, a bespoke handrail can be designed to match the aesthetic of a building, while a custom-made security grille can be created to provide the level of protection needed for a specific area of a commercial space.

Another benefit of bespoke commercial metalwork is that it can be designed to meet specific safety codes and regulations. This is important for businesses that need to comply with specific safety requirements, such as those in the retail, healthcare, or hospitality industries.

When creating bespoke commercial metalwork, businesses typically work with a metal fabricator that has experience in designing and creating custom-made metal products. The design process usually begins with a consultation between the business and the metal fabricator, during which the business’s specific needs and requirements are discussed.

The metal fabricator will then create a detailed design for the bespoke metalwork, taking into account factors such as the size and layout of the space, the intended use of the metalwork, and any safety codes and regulations that need to be met.

Once the design is finalized, the metal fabricator will begin the fabrication process. This typically involves cutting, shaping, and welding the metal to create the final product.

In summary, bespoke commercial metalwork is a type of custom-made metalwork that is designed and fabricated specifically for commercial spaces. It allows businesses to create a unique and functional space that is tailored to their specific needs, and also can be designed to meet specific safety codes and regulations. Businesses typically work with a metal fabricator that has experience in designing and creating custom-made metal products to design and fabricate the bespoke metalwork.
